Ever since the massive downpour we had on the weekend, Homelea has exploded into a mass of gorgeous colours.
Honestly, I feel like I’m living in a jigsaw puzzle photo!
The grass is a gorgeous green, the sorgum crop over the road is yellowy orange, and the sky is lovely shades of blue-grey as potential storm clouds drift past.
The bougainvillea is putting on it’s best fuchsia show after suffering when the hot days started.
The days have been lovely too, the stifling heat is gone and we are left with a gentle breeze.
This is summer at it’s best.
It’s all wonderful, except for the annoying fly that’s buzzing around my head as I write. But he’ll go away soon enough.
Bliss.
Cheers,
Lynda oxo.
